Chester’s Village LLC
Building the neighborhood we never had
Together, we can build the social infrastructure that turns neighborhoods into communities for pet lovers.
In India, children are raised by a village
Somehow, our dogs aren’t. Being a pet parent often feels like an isolated journey.
As a single immigrant in San Francisco, caring for a dog with liver cancer became difficult. It was the people around us, our village, who made the impossible survivable.

so, day to day
Our mission is simple:
To bring pet parents together and create a trusted support system that helps them navigate every stage of pet parenthood as a village.
and one day
The vision we are walking toward:
To build social infrastructure so every dog has a family that extends beyond their front door.
The problem
Simple things become overwhelming when you handle them alone.
- Emergency room visits
- Dog transportation
- Pet sitting
- Medical decisions
- Meals
- Emotional support
- Daily chores
- Financial stress
What support looked like
Someone brought food.
Someone watched the dog.
Someone drove us to the ER.
Someone stayed with us.
Someone checked in.
Someone walked him while I slept.
You move into a new neighborhood with your dog. Within weeks…
- you know your neighbors
- your dog has friends
- someone notices if you disappear
- someone helps in emergencies
- birthdays are celebrated
- lost dogs come home faster
